well everything is done for christmas and just waiting for that special day! so excited! It's my favorite time of the year. We've shopped  and made gifts, trimmed the tree wrapped everything. Made our customary trip to the city to see rockefeller tree, spectacular! But i think it is getting even busier each year no matter how early you go. we shopped at bryant park and had hot nuts and hot apple cider. went to Macy's for new ornaments and shopped at grand central station holiday fair. does it get better than this? oh yeah and we top the day off with dinner at the rock center cafe watching the people skate in front of the tree. i love christmas!!

i have been so very busy, making christmas advent calendars for kids and relatives. I decided to make christmas stockings each one is original and will not be reproduced( i hate making copies) i believe they are more special if it's a one of a kind so here is number one ( and i have to say it's my favorite)

Disney mail today, so excited! I received my free lithograph, its gorgeous

Guess what we did last weekend? The whole family went to see cirque du soleil, Zarkana! It was amazing! In NYC at Radio City Music Hall. This was our 7th cirque show the first was in 2007, so you can tell how much we love these shows. Did not disappoint!

Afterwards the kids wanted to take me to their favorite restaurant on 6th ave, Jekyll and Hyde restaurant check out their web page http://www.jekyllandhydeclub.com/home.htm It was lots of fun, I wasn't to sure what to expect. They come around and interact with you at your table as well as shows going on every few minutes. We ate in the library, I love the look of old books and pictures following your every move. If you get the chance , check it out!

today i finished another pocketbook for my etsy sight. It's a hand painted Disney fantasmic bag, i do have to say its gorgeous. And if your a person who likes to be organized, get in there it has 7 pockets inside and 3 pockets outside, plus two metal clips, just sayin i think it's pretty great!

spring

The very first signs of spring are there! My tulips and crocus are trying to come up even though there is a layer of snow on top. Soon our days will be longer and warm, i am looking forward to some sunshine on my face. My poor cats are itching to have the windows and doors open so they can feel the fresh breeze come through, soon, soon...

vacation

Woke up to more snow this morning,uugghh! so tired of it. This winter just seems neverendig. Sitting here while i should be working, but i have been busy pricing our vacation. Ds came to us this weekend to let us know they are planning a destination wedding, it sounds so nice can't wait! So heres to jetting off someplace great!!
