can't sleep...

i'm so excited i'm gonna bust a gut if I don't tell someone! I'm surprising my husband with a trip to disney world!! I made all the arrangements, and I will spring it on him on his birthday April 16. We leave April 17! Our first trip alone, without the kids or dogs. Feeling a bit guilty about whether we really can afford it, but it will be his birthday presant, my birthday presant, and this year is our 25th wedding anniversary. So we are gonna whoop it up! I love him so much, he is also my best friend. Ok I feel a little overwhelmed trying to plan and pack everything behind his back, while he's at work. Making lists and secret piles. Can't forget about dogs, I have to make sure I make enough food for them while I'm gone( yes they get homemade dog food, very spoiled), and make sure i have insulin for my tucker. well I better go I have a lot to do. ttyl

And the winner is.....
ELSIE
Heres what she wrote...
There is a zebra on my shelf,With a funny smile,And Prince Eboo is just the one, To ride him for awhile...The little shelf would be complete,With two mischievous souls, And magic would be all the time,For their combined goals.I think the fun would be nonstop,We'd search for them, and wonder too,Where did they go, what did they see,To make get off the shelf with glee?I have no answer yet, But there's one thing that's true, The zebra would love company.... and that is Prince Eboo!
I will contact you asap and i will him him off to you right away. Congrats!

my favorite holiday memorys

my favorite holiday memory was when my daughter was 10 and was questioning wether or not santa was real. she decided to tell santa something very special she wanted and if it came true, then he was real. she couldn't wait till christmas and finally straight up asked me. i told her the truth but in turn she had to tell me what she asked for. she replied, " i asked santa to make my mom not sick anymore." within a couple of months i wasn't sick anymore,(thanks to accupuncture) and she came to me and said there really is a santa.

bills quilt

this quilt is a rememberance for my brother bill. it was the easiest quilt i ever made. i didn't have to think about it at all it just flowed.
he loved the outdoors, and i can just picture him walking through the snow, in his leather coat and cap, with his constant companion killer. he passed away just a few months earlier than bill and i know they're together watching over us all.
