been sooooo busy lately with christmas coming, went to the city, no matter how many times you see the rockafeller tree in person it never fails to take your breath away. it's just a magical time to visit the city, saks snow flakes light up the whole building, the windows all decorated for christmas. bryant park with all the handmade items for sale. the architecture of the city. last but far from the least grand central station is so spectacular any time of the year. shopping, eating, taking the train, antique shopping. last three days have been all snow great time to wrap presents, and make cookies.

my favorite holiday memorys

my favorite holiday memory was when my daughter was 10 and was questioning wether or not santa was real. she decided to tell santa something very special she wanted and if it came true, then he was real. she couldn't wait till christmas and finally straight up asked me. i told her the truth but in turn she had to tell me what she asked for. she replied, " i asked santa to make my mom not sick anymore." within a couple of months i wasn't sick anymore,(thanks to accupuncture) and she came to me and said there really is a santa.

to everyone out there HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! i hope everyone has a wonderful day like i know i'll have. surrounded by family, with a huge delicious meal( i don't cook, so i know it's delicous) always starting the day off with the macys parade, either there or on tv, this year on tv. went to the city last monday with my hubby. such a wonderful day running around finding new treasures, shopping for christmas, enjoying ny hot dogs, the smells of ny, and sights, its just such an exciting place to be. oh and how can i forget we actually were on tv the today show when they showed the crowd, our 15 minutes of fame, thats enough for me. i have a lot to be thankful for this year, but most of all i am a very blessed person everyday of my life.

bills quilt

this quilt is a rememberance for my brother bill. it was the easiest quilt i ever made. i didn't have to think about it at all it just flowed.
he loved the outdoors, and i can just picture him walking through the snow, in his leather coat and cap, with his constant companion killer. he passed away just a few months earlier than bill and i know they're together watching over us all.

this quilt is very special, not completed yet, still needs some quilting. for my son playing football in highschool, thats him there number 73.

these are some of my quilts i've made. (very proud of them, if i do say so myself.)
this is my wood picture i hang for the summer months, a house with the ocean waves crashing into the cliffs below. the flag flying reminds me of fourth of july. this picture reminds me of the house we stayed at in glouster, maine one summer, good memories.

just finished this wood picture, thought it would look great for christmas.
