The very first signs of spring are there! My tulips and crocus are trying to come up even though there is a layer of snow on top. Soon our days will be longer and warm, i am looking forward to some sunshine on my face. My poor cats are itching to have the windows and doors open so they can feel the fresh breeze come through, soon, soon...

vacation

Woke up to more snow this morning,uugghh! so tired of it. This winter just seems neverendig. Sitting here while i should be working, but i have been busy pricing our vacation. Ds came to us this weekend to let us know they are planning a destination wedding, it sounds so nice can't wait! So heres to jetting off someplace great!!

i'm back

so sorry it's taken me so long to get back. life happens! new babies in the family, parties to go to, just busy, busy, busy. anyway disney was so wonderful last year we' re going back this year! My etsy site isn't doing so well so haven't really posted a lot, been busy making presants and such. just don't know how to get the word out and the economy stinks right now, but i'm not giving up . just changed the prices so i can clear all this stuff out. oh well i promise i'll right soon. bye.

The secret

Thursday...thursday finally i can tell him this thursday on his birthday(my hubby) that we are going to disney friday. I can't believe i have been able to keep this secret from him( i tell him everything, he's my best friend) This is the biggest presant i have ever given. I can't wait to see his face, i don't think he'll believe me, I'll have to show him the tickets. This is going to be so special, the first trip we have taken away from the kids and dogs, alone. We will wine and dine and not have a care in the world, and perhaps feeling like newlyweds, this October will be 25 years together and he is my everything. I love him so much. He is sweet and caring, yet hard headed some times, best friend, highschool sweet hearts( he stole me from his best friend), I hope some day our kids have the kind of marriage we have.

can't sleep...

i'm so excited i'm gonna bust a gut if I don't tell someone! I'm surprising my husband with a trip to disney world!! I made all the arrangements, and I will spring it on him on his birthday April 16. We leave April 17! Our first trip alone, without the kids or dogs. Feeling a bit guilty about whether we really can afford it, but it will be his birthday presant, my birthday presant, and this year is our 25th wedding anniversary. So we are gonna whoop it up! I love him so much, he is also my best friend. Ok I feel a little overwhelmed trying to plan and pack everything behind his back, while he's at work. Making lists and secret piles. Can't forget about dogs, I have to make sure I make enough food for them while I'm gone( yes they get homemade dog food, very spoiled), and make sure i have insulin for my tucker. well I better go I have a lot to do. ttyl

Thursdays

I love thursdays they are probably my favorite day of the week! We eat take out, watch great shows or scary movies every thursday. I pay all my bills on this day ( even though thats not fun) i guess it feels good to be able to compared to the rest of the country. Only one more day till friday! Thursday just feels like a very homey day!
